wanna go dutch?

starting this friday, my work will be available at one of my very favorite places to spend my money, double dutch in hampden. they have the most amazing clothing lines, and a great selection of jewelry, clothing and handbags by local artists such as dandelionblu, imogeneandannie, redprairiepress, and pistolstitched. hooray! will trade felt brooches for clothing!

eco-fest is the best.

it was a great day to be green at Baltimore's Eco Festival, hanging out with fellow members of BEST. we even had a mascot, decked out in a fabulous outfit from anniessweatshop.

they really like me!

it's been crazy around here, and i've been getting bogged down and not able to sew as much as i'd like. it's easy for me to get bummed out when i don't get to play with my felt as often as i'd like to. then something pops up like this fantastic piece about my work by jenny ryan. i know it's not cool but i just get, well giddy. thanks, craft! you made my day!

busy bees

we have been kind of busy around here lately... all good things, though. we took a lovely road trip to cincinnati, oh to see rick's family, then i took a road trip to richmond for spring bada bing. somehow we've managed to find time to do some gardening, er, well, throwing dirt.

wow! what a week!

so much has happened this week that it will easily take me a week to tell you all about it. the most up and coming thing right now is that i will be participating in the Richmond Craft Mafia's Spring-Bada-Bing! (i just love saying that.) it's my first show, and i'm really nervous, but luckily i'll have the lovely sweetpepita there to walk me through it. and there will be lots of other great vendors, too - if you are in the area, go check it out!

now off to making lots and lots of flowers. i'll post photos tomorrow!
